UFV provides awards to exceptional international students, most of which do not even demand an application!
In most instances, fees for international students are higher than those for domestic students. Attending university in Canada can be costly — that’s why the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) offers numerous scholarships to international students every year. These awards can assist in alleviating some financial burden, and are utilized as a means to motivate and support dedicated students.

Value: CAD $20,000 ($5,000 per year for four years)
Number per year: 10
You qualify for this scholarship if:
- You apply to study at UFV.
- You are in your final year of studies or have recently completed your studies.
Application deadline: No application is necessary for this scholarship. You will automatically be considered when you apply to UFV if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Value: CAD $5,000
Number per year: 30 (15 for Summer and 15 for Fall)
You qualify for this scholarship if:
- You apply to study at UFV.
- You are in your final year of studies or have recently completed your studies.
Application deadline: No application is necessary for this scholarship. You will automatically be considered when you apply to UFV, if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Value: CAD $5,000
Number available per year: 5
If you are an international high school student, you qualify if you attend one of the following:
- A secondary school in B.C.
- An offshore high school that has been inspected and certified by the B.C. government.
Application deadline: No application is necessary for this scholarship. You will automatically be considered when you apply to UFV if you meet the eligibility criteria.
