Funding the next generation

CCU is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence and offers merit-based scholarships to exceptional first-year and transfer students.

These scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, either in secondary school for first-year students, or at an accredited college or university for transfer students. There is no need to apply separately for each scholarship; when you apply to CCU, you will be automatically considered for these awards.

Naturally, early applicants have a greater chance of receiving funding, so be sure to apply before the “priority admission deadline“. Historically, funds for applicants who apply after the published priority application dates have been limited. For fall applicants, admission decisions are made by January 1 (for first-year students) or June 1 (for transfer students). Similarly, spring applicants should be admitted by November 1.

Now let’s take a look at some of the scholarships available to Canadian students studying at CCU:

International First-Year Scholarships

First-year students, referred to as “freshmen” in the United States, are encouraged to apply for one of these renewable merit scholarships. The best part is that if you maintain your grades, you will continue to receive financial assistance throughout your degree program.
